From her time studying fashion design to now, excelling in the beauty industry. She loves what’s she does and more importantly she loves each and every client that sits in her chair!

Native San Diegan and certified color specialist.  Whether you are looking for modern, edgy, classic or glam, Monica can guide you into your next look. She prides herself on taking the client’s lifestyle, hair, and features into account as she hand delivers exceptional work making her guests feel like they are on top of their fashion game. Certified in chi, pravana, redken color/product lines, and babe hair extensions.   Featured in numerous hair based pages on social media.

Samantha VanValkenburg

Hello!! My name is Samantha! Hair is my passion, especially hair coloring! I studied hair color for years and worked behind a chair at Jet Rhys Salon as a hair color specialist for 5 years! I love what I do! I always make sure to spend a lot of time on the consultation so we can both assure we are on the same page! See you in my chair soon!

Meet Cortney, she assists the owners Curtis and Katie Anderson with their 3 salons including Beauty Bar. She specializes in event planning, graphic design, social media and website building. Cortney is a mother of two and absolutely loves working alongside these ladies in one of the best salons in San Diego.

I have had the pleasure of being a cosmetologist for over 20 years. I have been using Redken color for my entire career. I have always enjoyed meeting new people and helping them grow, cut, color, style or whatever they may need to achieve the best hair to fit their life style. Even different types of extensions to get them through a grow out period, or to have fuller thicker hair or long movie star locks. I also value my loyal clients and getting to know them and their hair.

I continue to take classes to further my education. I am also certified in I-tips and tape-in extensions.
